STORIES

The Farmstead

Growing and raising food for family and community

My biggest focus as a storyteller and human right now is participating and expanding a resilient, decentralized food system and bringing as many people along for the ride as possible.

My wife and I live in our self-built tiny house as caretakers on a 10-acre hobby farm in the Gallatin Valley. We support three Idaho pasture pigs, about a dozen egg hens, a small herd of goats, beehives, and vegetable gardens. This summer we're managing the rotational grazing program to maximize soil health and pasture productivity.
